On Being a Champion

A Champion is a winner,
A hero...
Someone who never gives up
Even when the going gets rough.
A champion is a member of
A winning team...
Someone who overcomes challenges
Even when it requires creative solutions.
A champion is an optimist,
A hopeful spirit...
Someone who plays the game,
Even when the game is called life.
There can be a champion in each of us,
If we live as a winner,
If we live as a member of the team,
If we live with a hopeful spirit,
For Life.

 

Let this truly be
The celebration of
A New Year…
Let us remember
The past, yet
Not dwell in it.
Let us fully use
The present, yet
Not waste it.
Let us live for
The future, yet
Not count on it

Det han stod för var vackert och som 13 åring dog han av sin sjukdom!


Vi som lever utan dödliga sjukdomar slavrvar bort våra liv för ingenting.

När vi möts av motgångar prövas vi och vi överlever oftast med huvudet högt och med ett ny vunnet självförtroende och nya insikter om livet.

Men det vi glömmer att lyssna till våra hjärtsånger!

Så om ni har en stund, gå till eran favoritplats och sjung ikapp med era hjärtan och försök lista ut vad ni faktiskt vill göra i livet!
